Biograd Boat Show 2025 - vessels, trends and business opportunities in one place

From October 22 to 26, 2025, the 27th edition of the Biograd Boat Show will be held in Biograd na Moru, at Marina Kornati. It is the largest boat show in Croatia and the central show of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. This year, the show brings yet another record-breaking edition, with tens of thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors, confirming Biograd’s status as the European nautical capital.

Biograd Boat Show is the place where boat, equipment, service and solution manufacturers meet, along with sea and yachting enthusiasts.

Renowned shipbuilding companies participate at BBS, presenting the latest models of sailboats, motor yachts, catamarans and small boats, along with supporting equipment such as engines, navigation electronics, anchoring gear, composites, cockpit systems and luxury interior fittings.

The show, which will take place this year from October 22 to 26, also features premieres of new boat models, often exclusive to the Croatian or regional market.

Visitors can test equipment live, see engines in action, take part in demonstrations of electronics and systems, explore the interiors of vessels and speak directly with brand representatives, engineers, designers, service technicians and various other experts.

Biograd Boat Show is also open to those who are just entering the nautical world, offering educational segments, buyer guides, information on certified services at Marina Kornati and the opportunity to “feel” the market, learn about trends and discover innovations that are shaping the future of the regional nautical industry.

Boat show with a long tradition and records

The first Biograd Boat Show was held almost three decades ago, and today it is considered an event that breaks its own records every year.

Over the years, it has grown into the most visited nautical event on the Adriatic, attracting visitors from more than 40 countries. The number of exhibitors in 2024 exceeded 400 companies, while the number of exhibited vessels was measured in the hundreds.

In past editions, Biograd has hosted more than 20,000 visitors annually, making it an unmissable date in the calendar of every serious nautical company.

What to see and do at BBS 2025

Exhibitions of vessels and testing
This year’s show is expected to feature more than 500 exhibited vessels, up to 24 meters in length. The fair has been further expanded, with 2,000 m² of new sea space provided and Hall C enlarged by an additional 800 m².

In Marina Kornati, pontoon bridges will be installed, making it easier for visitors and exhibitors to access all vessels.

B2B programs and Croatia Charter Expo
Special emphasis has been placed on business content. Biograd B2B allows participants to schedule meetings with exhibitors in advance, be included in the business directory and participate in industry presentations.

Croatia Charter Expo, which will be held on October 22 and 23, 2025, brings together charter operators, brokers and suppliers from about forty countries and has already been recognized as the largest specialized event of its kind in the region.

The Expo is particularly important because it enables direct negotiations and meetings, and thanks to its international character, it has become the largest specialized event of its kind in Europe. For Croatian companies, it is an opportunity to showcase the competitiveness of the domestic offer, while for international partners it opens the door to the Adriatic, one of the world’s most desirable charter destinations.

HGK Croatian Nautical Days
HGK Croatian Nautical Days is a part of the show that provides a strong professional and institutional dimension. Organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, it brings together experts and entrepreneurs through panels, presentations and working groups.

This congress positions the Biograd Boat Show as a forum where not only the offer is presented, but also the future of the industry is discussed. The conclusions and recommendations from HGK Croatian Nautical Days often shape the further guidelines for the development of Croatian yacht charter, which makes this segment of the show extremely important for the entire sector.

Why Biograd Boat Show is a must-attend event

Biograd Boat Show 2025 confirms its status as the most important nautical event in this part of Europe.

The combination of vessel exhibitions, premieres of new models, a rich accompanying program and strong B2B events makes it an essential gathering place for everyone in the nautical industry - from manufacturers and suppliers to charter companies, brokers and all others.

This is not only a place where the latest trends are showcased, but also where business relationships are built that shape the future of the market.

Čarter.hr is once again present at the Biograd Boat Show this year, specifically at the Croatia Charter Expo.

This is no longer a battle of portals, but a battle for control of the yacht charter market
This is no longer a battle of portals, but a battle for control of the yacht charter market

The acquisition of Borrow A Boat and its integration into Five Seasons Yachting Group shows that the yacht charter market is no longer changing only through the growth of individual portals, but through the connection of distribution, technology, data and customer relationships. In such a model, the greatest advantage no longer necessarily belongs to the one who has the fleet, but to the one who controls digital access to the market. Selma Ćubara in her new column draws a parallel with the American market and warns that for Croatian yacht charter companies the biggest risk is the loss of autonomy, not just the level of commission.
