International Charter Expo (ICE '23) announces another record-breaking event this year. All interested parties can register to attend and take advantage of the opportunity for further networking with peers and partners in the nautical industry.
The nautical B2B trade show International Charter Expo is reporting new records for this year's edition as well. From December 6 to 8, 2023. a large number of charter companies and owners of megayachts from all over the world are expected to be represented at the Zagreb Fair.
For the eighth consecutive year, Yachtmaster Group is organizing this three-day event, also known as the most influential meeting place of the marine industry.
During ICE'23, Zagreb is expected to become "the spot" for owners of luxury yachts estimated to be worth 8 billion euros, which is undoubtedly a good reason to visit this event.
All those who want to participate in the fair - managers of yacht charter companies, central agents of luxury yachts, the main suppliers and shipyards - will have the opportunity to network with new business partners. But also to exchange ideas about global trends and innovations in the industry.
As those who have attended previous editions of ICE already know, the meetings are scheduled in advance via software; the Handshake app significantly increases the efficiency of this type of trade show and event.

The organizers of ICE gave an answer to this question, because they believe that it is difficult to determine the value of the fair for the world of yacht charter. However, they believe that the more than 1,500 CEOs from over 550 companies in the industry speak for themselves.
They are all united by a common goal - building new business collaborations and fortification of old ones.
The organizers of the International Charter Expo consider the fair to be one of the most important meeting places for the nautical industry, both for crewed and uncrewed yachts.

The Crewed & Luxury sector is the most attractive part of the fair, whose owners and employees "sail" on around 800 prestigious yacht models worth over 1 billion euros in seasonal charters.
Fleet managers will have the opportunity to present their programs to investors in the Investors Lounge, which aims to expand fleets through new business collaborations.
The fairs' organizers also say that yacht charter companies are becoming more interested in networking with business partners. They cite the largest number of group reservations in Zagreb hotels as evidence of this. They also point out that by organizing accommodation at special prices for the participants of the International Charter Expo, nothing is left to chance.
The organizers invite all interested parties to register and participate in this B2B nautical exhibition.
Registration for ICE '23 is open and you can find more information on their official website or social media.

In this column, Andreja Fazlić explains why premium service in the yacht charter industry is not created simply through better yachts, smoother communication, or a new CRM. It requires changes in the way teams operate, make decisions, and think about service itself. The article explores why business transformation often breaks down precisely where technology ends and human habits begin.
The Croatian yacht charter industry no longer has the luxury of doing things the old way. In her latest column, Selma Ćubara explains why digital marketing, clear strategy, and stronger processes are becoming essential for more sustainable and competitive business operations.
Today’s guests are no longer looking for just a yacht, but for a complete travel experience. This is exactly why collaboration between charter companies and the local tourism sector is becoming increasingly important. Through quality partnerships with restaurants, concierge services, private guides, transfers, and authentic experience platforms, charter companies can increase the value of their offer, create a better guest experience, and stand out in an increasingly competitive market.
OTA platforms or direct bookings? That is the wrong question. The real question is whether you know how to make booking platforms work for your business instead of against it. The yacht charter industry still operates under many unwritten rules from the old agency model, from direct guests paying more than agency guests to operators refusing repeat direct bookings “so they do not upset the agent.” While the hotel industry has long rewarded direct guests with exclusive pricing and loyalty programmes, yacht charter is still protecting a system that made sense before the rise of OTA platforms. It is time to rethink that approach.
