CROYA 2025 - Split once again becomes the center of the global yacht charter industry

From September 29 to October 1, 2025, the city of Split will host the CROYA Yacht Charter Show - a unique Croatian B2B boat show promoting luxury nautical tourism. This prestigious three-day event will bring together leading representatives of the yacht charter industry in the heart of Dalmatia.

When we talk about nautical tourism in Croatia, we see a sector that is continuously growing and becoming an increasingly important part of our tourist offer.

Specialized B2B boat shows like CROYA are an opportunity to show the world why the Croatian Adriatic is so special. This is not just about selling yacht charter services, but about yacht charter brokers from all over the world experiencing our coast the way we experience it.

It is precisely such direct contacts and experiences that build long-term business relationships that bring concrete results and recognition of Croatia as a premium nautical destination.

CROYA 2025 - record participation and boat show expansion

At the end of this tourist season, Split will transform into the main meeting place for brokers, yachting agents and nautical industry experts from different parts of the world.

A multitude of exhibitors whose activities are directly related to the yachting sector, as well as more than 160 yacht charter brokers coming from 16 different countries, have already announced their participation.

This year's boat show is expanding to include a part of Split's ACI Marina, which speaks volumes about the growing interest in the CROYA event.

Barbara Grgurević Škoda, a member of the organizing committee of the CRO.Y.A. association that organizes the entire event, pointed out: "We are extremely pleased that the second edition of the CROYA Yacht Charter Show is already exceeding expectations - with more than 45 registered crewed yachts, with new applications still coming in, it confirms the strong growth of the Croatian luxury yacht and superyacht market."

Rich program and strategic importance for Croatia

This year, visitors will be treated to a fascinating nautical collection - a presentation of the most exclusive yachts, motor yachts, gulets and crewed catamarans.

The program also includes interesting culinary competitions of chefs on the theme of "The Croatian Nonas", judging the art of table decoration, preparation of cocktails and flavored drinks.

With exclusive evening programs and networking in the city center, and educational trips that follow the boat show, CROYA allows yacht charter brokers to get to know Split and the Dalmatian coast in more depth, discover local destinations, cultural heritage and gastronomy, and directly experience the Adriatic for a more convincing promotion of Croatian yacht charter to their clients.

"Exactly such an event was needed for Croatia to further confirm its status and further position itself on the map of leading Mediterranean superyacht destinations," emphasized Grgurević Škoda, adding that CROYA serves as a platform where international business relationships and lasting cooperation are built through networking, allowing Croatia and CROYA to compete with the largest and most significant B2B charter boat shows such as MYBA in Italy, MEDYS in Greece and TYBA in Turkey.

The CROYA Yacht Charter Show is being held as part of the Split Sailing Festival, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia. Partners in organizing this year's CROYA are the Croatian National Tourist Board, the City of Split, the Tourist Board of the City of Split, the Tourist Board of the Split-Dalmatia County, the Port Authority of the Split-Dalmatia County, ACI Marina Split and the Croatian Chamber of Economy.

Don't miss the leading yacht charter event of the year and three days of exclusive networking, the most luxurious yachts in one place and the opportunity to learn about global trends in the yacht charter industry - all in a beautiful setting.

CROYA Yacht Charter Show 2025 promises to be an indispensable experience for everyone involved in the nautical industry.

How AI Is Changing the Way Guests Choose Yacht Charters (And Why Many Still Don’t See It)

Guests are increasingly no longer searching in the traditional sense. Instead, they ask questions and expect direct, structured answers. AI provides those answers, often already in the form of recommendations that narrow down the selection before a charter company even gets the chance to make contact. This article explains how decision-making behaviour is changing, why the yacht charter segment is likely to feel these shifts faster than other tourism sectors, and what visibility really means in an AI-driven environment. The focus is no longer just on being present online, but on communicating a clear and relevant offer.
